1. The National Export Strategy (NES) Implementation Plan was launched with the technical assistance of GIZ Germany and with the technical assistance of the International Trade Center (ITC) with the approval of the Union Government Meeting No. (14/2013) held on 26 April 2013.
2. Launching of Myanmar's National Export Strategy Planning Project and Opening Ceremony of the First Workshop 2013 May 2 to 4 in Nay Pyi Taw; Held at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce Expectations for the National Export Strategy from the first workshop; Objectives and 7 priority sectors to be implemented and 4 support sectors were identified.
The vision of the National Export Strategy is:
"Sustainable export-led growth and prosperity for an emerging Myanmar" towards export-led sustainable growth and prosperity for emerging Myanmar
The objectives of the National Export Strategy are:
To develop sustainable, inclusive and equitable export-led growth;
- Develop a rational, effective, predictable, transparent policy and regulatory framework;
Competitive by enhancing productivity and promoting innovation. To develop a complete range of high quality exports;
Establish modern trade support organizations that can meet the various needs of existing exporters and emerging exporters.
- Build physical trade infrastructure;
