AID FOR TRADE COORDINATION UNIT
The purpose
The purpose of the Aid for Trade Coordination Unit is to provide a working level coordination unit for the successful implementation of the Aid for Trade process, including the EIF and NES, under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce.
Responsibilities of Aid for Trade Coordination Unit are as follows:
- To coordinate with line ministries and trade-related organizations in implementing Aid for Trade activities and other related activities including EIF and NES process
- To have a good connection with development partners via the Trade Sector Working Group (TSWG)
- To submit the progress report, midterm report and final report describing about implementation of the projects to the concerning authority
- To coordinate with private sectors, which play the main role for the trade development, as well as with other stakeholders as necessary
- To support organization, committee and concerning authority in policy decision making while implementing the aid for trade activities for trade development
- To prepare the detail description of process in accords with the variety of the project matter
- To implement the other developmental process given as the other responsibility by the Ministry of Commerce as necessary
- To release the list of Aid for Trade Coordination Unit team members by the Team Leader
